The 2023 Team
Between April and October, we practice twice a week at beautiful Homer Lake, preparing for several weekend races throughout the summer, typically in Breast Cancer Survivor (BCS) Divisions in dragon boat races throughout the Midwest. Off-season, we encourage one another to stay fit, socialize, and plan our fundraising efforts in support of our organization and breast cancer research.
Throughout the year, the Prairie Dragon Paddlers work to educate our community about prevention and treatment, while working closely with newly diagnosed individuals to help them successfully navigate life after diagnosis.
